An interesting film right from the get go, Jaya Ravi’s upcoming Comali has left fans intrigued after 9 posters were released showing the versatile actor in different looks, all of which went on to fetch a highly positive response. Directed by debutante Pradeep Ranganathan under Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh’s Vels Films International banner, the film also starring Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead has now been announced for a theatrical release on August 15 as an Independence Day treat for fans.
With the excitement for Comali high, the film will be going up against one of the biggest and most awaited ventures of the year in the form of Prabhas’ Saaho, which also was announced to come out in theatres on August 15. The action thriller film’s first trailer released not long back won over everybody and it now remains to be seen how Jayam Ravi’s Comali performs considering it too has significant expectations among fans.
Comali has created quite a lot of curiosity among fans; especially with the film’s posters and the hype is high after the release of the first single track “Paisa Note” composed by Hiphop Tamizha, which has gone on to become a chartbuster. Apart from Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal as the lead pair, popular Kannada and Bollywood actress Kavita Radheshyam too has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. Furthermore, Yogi Babu, who was featured in the “Glimpse of Comali” short teaser, also will lend plenty of comedy to the plot.
