UTV Motion Pictures' South Film Business chief G. Dhananjayan is celebrating his birthday today (May 14).
Ever since he joined UTV in February last year after serving Moser Baer, Dhananjayan has been instrumental in the success of UTV's several South Indian hits, including its latest Kalakalappu, produced by UTV in association with Kushbu Sundar’s Avni Max, and Malayalam film Grand Master, which has Mohanlal and Priyamani in the lead. Both films are getting rave reviews and have been declared huge hits.
Dhanajayan's another achievement in recent years is his book The Best of Tamil Cinema: 1931 to 2010, released last year by Kamal Haasan. The book contains a comprehensive history of the Tamil cinema. We at Galatta.com wish him a very happy birthday and many more successful ventures in the future.
