Devarattam is an upcoming action film directed by M. Muthaiah and the film is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green. The film stars Gautham Karthik, Soori and Manjima Mohan in lead roles. The film's soundtrack is composed by Nivas K. Prasanna. The teaser of the film released a few months back which had a good level of reception by the audience. The film is expected to release during the first half of 2019 and now there is a brand new update from the film that we heard. 

 

According to our sources, it was revealed that the actor will be playing the role of a college law student in the film which is touted to have a storyline highlighting the existing caste issues in our society. The actor had a massive year in 2018 with two very successful commercial films titled Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu directed by Santhosh P. Jayakumar and Mr. Chandramouli in which he was seen sharing screen space with his father actor Karthik.
