Devarakonda Veeraiah withdrawn

Two weeksafter itsrelease, Devarakonda Veeraiah has been withdrawn from theatresfor slight changes. The move comes after the film received grave criticism about some ofits controversial scenes.

A few scenes which poignantly deal with some burning issues in society have invited a lot of criticism, which prompted Murthy to recall the film. Als,o the film will undergo a name change from Devarakonda Veeraiah to Kuthuru Kosam. The re-shoot is progressing fast.

Speaking to the media, Murthy assured that the film will get released again with the new name after minor changes are made.
