There have been several biopics that have come out so far and few more are at present under production right now. That being said, a new film has now been announced to be based on the founder and leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, Velupillai Prabhakaran.
To be directed by Venkatesh Kumar of Unakkul Naan (2015), Lightman (2016), and Neelam (2017) fame, the Velupillai Prabhakaran biopic will be produced under the Studio 18 Productions banner with filming expected to begin once the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) strike comes to an end.
The Velupillai Prabhakaran biopic will reportedly shed light on the history of the beloved Tamil leader showcasing some of the monumental moments in his life.
