We had earlier reported that director Bala’s upcoming film is based on the native Tamil Nadu dance form Karagattam. This film has Sasikumar in the lead and sources say that the director was looking for a suitable female lead. Now, the recent update is that actress Shriya Saran has been chosen by director Bala to play the female lead. We hear that Bala zeroed in on Shriya for her extraordinary dancing skills. Ilaiyaraaja will be composing the tunes for the film.
