Angadi Theru celebrates the triumph of human spirit over overwhelming odds, and the kindling of hope in the midst of pain and misery.�The film�takes us through the agonizing travails of a bunch of sales boys and sales girls working in a Chennai showroom.
Now the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) is all set to launch a movement to take up the problems faced by these workers. "Though our earlier attempts to form a union for salespersons working in the department stores in T. Nagar failed, the movie has brought the issue to the fore again. We will launch a movement to take up their issue," said CITU state secretary T.A. Latha.
