The world was introduced to the musical storm that A. R. Rahman is through the film Roja in 1992.


Some will also know that the 'Mozart of Madras' also made his musical debut in Malayalam later that same year in Mohanlal starrer, Yoddha.


The Academy Award-winning composer, who has several projects lined up next, has now confirmed he will also be scoring for an upcoming Malayalam film. The film titled Aadujeevitham will mark his return to Malayalam cinema after a gap of 25 years.


To be directed by Malayalam filmmaker Blessy, Aadujeevitham will be an adaptation of the novel written by Benyamin and will star actor Prithviraj, who will reportedly undergo a transformation for his in the film. Filming is expected to kick-start in around three months time. 


The news of A. R. Rahman’s involvement in the project was confirmed by the 'Isaipuyal' himself during a press conference in Dubai recently. This will no doubt be a special film for ARR and his fans in Kerala.
