Crime thrillers are making a wave these days and almost all of them that got released in the past few months have become super hits at the box office.

7 Naatkal directed by Gautham VR is soon to join the list which has Ganesh Venkatraman and Shakthi Vasu playing the lead roles. While Ganesh plays an investigation officer, Shakthi plays a role with negative shades.

While he has been playing the charming college boy roles, this could be the big game changer the actor is looking forward to. He was last seen in a cameo in Shivalinga while a crime thriller has more scope as his role is on par with that of main protagonist.
