Gearing up for a thunderous worldwide release on November 29, director Shankar’s 2.0 starring ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in lead roles under the Lyca Productions banner with music by A. R. Rahman is one of the costliest films to be coming out of Asia with a budget of over 500 crores.
As known already, Academy Award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty had announced during the 2.0 trailer launch few days back that the film has employed 4D surround sound. Now, he has revealed on his Twitter page that the upcoming sci-fi action thriller is the first Indian film to feature the SRL4D audio. He further went on to declare the Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer is also the best film in terms of overall sound design. Looking at all these developments, we can expect the film to be quite a spectacle when it comes out in theatres in 10 days.
