Zac jealous of Leonardo
Zac Efron admits he was completely jealous of Leonardo DiCaprio, and the way gals threw themselves at�Leo when�Zac was in fifth grade! The Titanic had just released and Leo was the poster boy and cover boy of every magazine and tabloid, and the girls just couldn’t stop raving about him! He says, "Leo, for me, was the first time I ever recognized fame. I was in fifth grade when he was literally on every magazine cover for Titanic and all the girls had these Tigerbeat magazines and I'd say, 'Dude, what's so great about this kid?' "
So when Zac came face-to-face with Leo at a basketball game in November last year, he was filled with mixed feelings. But now that Zac is extra-popular with the teens, he more than understands the pressure of the status! "I was jealous then. I mean, you couldn't help but hate this guy. But now, to some degree, I've made it and I'm going through the same thing." Maybe Leo should give him a few handy tips to get through the teen craze phase.
