‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth fans are quite happy these days as they will be getting to see their ‘Thalaivar’ on screen in quick succession starting with the sci-fi action film, 2.0, releasing on November 29 followed by Petta for Pongal 2019.
Meanwhile, one of Rajinikanth’s biggest blockbusters, Muthu, released in 1995 was directed by K. S. Ravikumar under the Kavithalayaa Productions banner with chartbuster music by A. R. Rahman. The action drama is a special film for ‘Thalaivar’ fans everywhere as it blended all commercial elements namely comedy, action, sentiment, drama in the right proportion.
That said, Muthu also starring Meena, Sarath Babu, Raghuvaran, Vadivelu, Senthil, Radha Ravi among others is all set to be re-released in Japan and this time in 4K resolution. The news was announced by Kavithalayaa Productions on their Twitter page who added the film will be premiering on November 23 at Tokyo in Japan.
