Ever since the first look of Karthi's Kaashmora was released, there has been a widespread comparison of the film with Baahubali. This is despite the team's clarification that the periodic portion ( in which Karthi appears in tonsured look) will last only for thirty minutes. However, the Kaashmora has taken the comparison as a challenge and has even improvised the detailing of the characters to live up to the expectations.
Set for an Oct 28 release, the film is directed by Gokul and produced by SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures. Also in the starcast are Nayantara, Sri Divya, and Vivek. The film is released on a wide scale by Sri Thenandal Films.
