Wedding bells for Geetu Mohandas
Actress Geetu Mohandas is to wed acclaimed cinematographer Rajiv Ravi at Kochi on November 14. Geetu shot to limelight in Bommukutti Ammavukku, playing the child of Suhasini and Sathyaraj. As a heroine, Geetu had important roles in the comedy caper Nala Damayanthi and epic director K. Balachander's 100th movie Poi.
Moving over to Malayalam and art films, Geetu's debut directorial venture Kelkkunnundo with Rajiv Ravi as cinematographer was released recently.
Rajiv Ravi has a string of hits in Bollywood, including Chandni Bar, Dev D and Gulal speaking for his talent. The lensman's work in the Malayalam hit Classmates was also praised.
It sure is a coincidence that the wedding date of this child artiste-turned heroine falls on Children's Day.
