Actor Vidyut Jammwal became a prominent name among Tamil cinema fans after starring as the antagonist in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's blockbuster, Thuppakki, and as Suriya's friend in Anjaan. The actor has since gone on to become a big name in Bollywood and is all set to be seen in the upcoming Hindi action thriller film, Junglee, which primarily revolves around a unique friendship between man and animal.

Being produced by Junglee Pictures with AA Films and  UFO Moviez jointly handling the distribution, Junglee releasing in theatres in April 5 stars Vidyut Jammwal, Pooja Sawant and Asha Bhat in lead roles and has been written by Rohan Sippy under the direction of American filmmaker Chuck Russell known for his films in Hollywood namely The Mask with Jim Carrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Eraser and The Scorpion King with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

In Junglee, Vidyut will be playing a veterinary doctor, who upon entering an elephant reserve encounters and fights against an international poacher’s racket with the actor training himself in the animal flow style of combat and Kalaripayattu. It is also reported that the film has been shot in Thailand with four elephants finalized out of 100 others and a special Thai crew present on the sets while filming. The teaser for Junglee released last year raised a lot of curiosity with the first full trailer now officially out and can be watched below:
