Mark Antony is the next big film of actor Vishal that also has S.J Suryah in an important role. The film is directed by Adhik Ravichandran and is said to be an action film with science fiction elements. The film is produced by S. Vinodh Kumar under the banner of Mini Studio and now, the release date of the anticipated film has been announced. The leading actor Vishal has shared the film will be reelased in theatres worldwide on which is September 19 for Vinayagar chaturthi. He tweeted the announcment with the lines from the recent hit song of 'Thalapathy' Vijay starrer Leo saying 'Na Ready Dha Varavaa?" The release date announcement poster shows important character in the film.

S.J. Suryah has also announced the release date in his own style with dialogues from Mark Antony saying "He has changes, made changers and forgot many things to come here". Ahead of the official announcement, the director Adhik Ravichandran and the actors had tweeted songs of lord Ganesh from hit films including Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli and Ajith Kumar's Vedhalam. These lyrics hinted that the film could release for Vinayagar Chathurthi Mark Antony is one of the most anticipated films and the team is leaving no stone unturned to let people know about the film. A teaser of the film was released in April and the makers had announced that the shooting of the film wrapped in May. The teaser of the film shows the film will surely be an action-filled entertainment with exciting Time-travel elements and it also shows the actors Vishal and S.J. Suryah will play dual roles in the film.

Apart from Vishal and S.J. Suryah, Mark Antony also has director Selvaraghavan and Pushpa fame Sunil in significant roles with Ritu Varma, Abhinaya, Kingsley, and Y.G.Mahendran. The film will also have music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar. The film is helmed by Adhik Ravichandran who has done films like Trish Illana Nayanthara, AAA and his recent film was Bagheera.
