Leading actor-producer Vishal and blockbuster director Hari are teaming up for the third time for a new film to be produced jointly by Karthik Subbaraj and Kaarthekeyen Santhanam's Stone Bench and Zee Studios South banners. A small formal pooja ceremony was held earlier today for the upcoming film tentatively titled Vishal 34, which saw Vishal along with Hari, Karthik Subbaraj, Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Kirubakaran Ramasamy, Vinoth CJ among others take part and flag off the proceedings ahead of the production. No other cast and crew details have been revealed apart from Vishal headlining the venture billed to be an out-and-out mass action entertainer, which will be his reunion with director Hari after their previous hit blockbusters, Thamirabharani (2007) and Poojai (2014).
There had been talks about Vishal and Hari coming together for another venture for quite sometime and their new film's announcement poster hints at the kind of film fans can expect the duo to bring out once production gets wrapped up. The Vishal 34 announcement poster shows a stethoscope along with machete knives, guns, and handcuffs hinting the film will be loaded with plenty of action. The stethoscope in the poster also might allude to either Vishal playing the role of a doctor or the story being set against a medical backdrop.

Both Vishal and Hari will be looking to come out all guns blazing in their third outing together and fans will no doubt expect the duo to deliver yet another power-packed action entertainer. Currently filming the much-awaited period action drama, Mark Antony, Vishal is also expected to resume filming for the highly-anticipated Thupparivaalan 2, which marks his directorial debut. On the other hand, Hari, whose last release was Yaanai starring Arun Vijay, will want to get back to his big winning ways once again and all sights will be set on what he is cooking up for Vishal 34.
