Vemal’s first release of 2019, Kalavani 2, hit theatres sometime back and went on to receive a mixed response from fans and critics alike. The actor is now awaiting the release of his upcoming films among which include the comedy entertainer, Kanni Raasi, opposite Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and the long-delayed multi-starrer comedy venture, Rendavathu Padam, directed by Tamizh Padam 2 director C. S. Amudhan. Having said that, sources close to us have now revealed that Vemal will next be joining hands with the director Senthil Kumar of 6.2 fame with the project set to be bankrolled by producer V. Palanivel, who has previously made more than 10 ventures among which include popular films like Oram Po (Auto) starring Arya and Pooja Umashankar, and Arjun's Vathiyar.
The in-development project will be produced under V. Palanivel’s Vaidhiyanadhan Film Garden banner and will be a comedy love story with the makers at present on the search for a leading lady to be cast opposite Vemal. Furthermore, the heroine’s portions are being planned to be shot in a span of 30 days with filming on the entire venture expected to wrapped up in quick time.
