Viji Chandrasekhar of Aarohanam fame doesn't choose all the projects that come her way; she always evaluates the value addition her roles give to the movie. She selects roles that give her more scope to improve her performance. She doesn't like to play the role of any top hero or heroine's mother as those roles would require not much acting other that crying on screen. She wishes to play a role of a deaf and dumb person as it will allow her to communicate with the viewers through emotions which will be challenging.
