Maaveeran is the next big film of actor Sivakartikeyan with Madonne Ashwin who made bagged the national award for his debut film Mandela. The film has created huge excitement among fans and movie buffs. The trailer and glimpse from the film that was released recently show the actor looking up at the sky when a serious situation arises. As the film also has fantasy elements, there was discussions on social media that the lead character would head a voice and it was said that a famous actor will voice act for the part. Now, Sivakarthikeyan has confirmed that Vijay Sethupathi join the film as the voice which that the leading character hears when he is looking above.

Sivakarthikeyan has shared the announcement with a tweet that stated "My dear brother Vijay Sethupathi thank you for your kind gesture" and has added that he is very happy to join with his voice in Maaveeran. The interesting glimpse video shows other characters saying he is looking at the roof and talking? Sunil saying there is someone we don't know behind him. A person asks "Who is that voice" some action sequences are shown and the word "Veerame Jayam" is heard in Vijay Sethupathi's voice, as the actor looks up. The video then ends revealing with the voice of 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, Maaveeran.
