Aneethi is an upcoming film of actor Arjun Das who is known for his deep voice with Sarapatta Parambarai fame actress Dushara Vijayan. The film is directed by Vasantha Balan who has made critically acclaimed films like Veyil, etc. The audio launch event of the film, that is to be release on 21st July, happened amidst director Shankar, who is presenting the film, and other stars. Speaking about the film at the event, director Vasantha Balan said “Aneethi (Injustice) is a film that will take about Justice.”
The director Vasantha Balan then narrated a poem and said that will be the plotline of the film and that the story/film is seeking your love and forgiveness and I want to spread that voice around the world. He said he expects the voice that has concern for a third person like drivers and delivery persons. Aneethi director then got emotional and shared an instance from his life, "when I was admitted in ICU for breathlessness and the doctor did not know what to day but my friend knew the reason, He turned into a doctor and took an MRI scan and we found that I had a big infection in a small hospital. If he had not found that my life would have ended with a condolence poster.” The director got emotional saying these friends are a blessing for him and that everyone who are on stage are his friend and said when he was sad, director Shankar asked a story from him and gave him the film Veyil. "After I took this (Aneethi) film as a producer he said he will present it. for nine years, I have been an associate director to him. So, I don't know what I can say", said the director. He then spoke about G.V. Prakash Kumar, Murugan and others who joined the film as a producer and also spoke about the cast of the film Vanitha and Suresh Chakravarthy.
The director Vasantha Balan said spoke about Arjun Das saying eventhough, a finger in his leg was broken during the filming of a scene, he did it anyway and went on to thank every cast and crew. The director then said Aneethi will be a difference from his previous films and is set in the thriller genre with romantic elements which will be liked by many. He said "the film is waiting for applause from the audience.” The teaser of the film was released yesterday and shows it will be an interesting psychological thriller.
