It was indeed a great day for Vijay and his fans yesterday! The much awaited Thalapathy Anthem was launched in style at JS Kalyana Mandapam in Vadapalani. Vijay was there to support his fans, he reached the venue in style (in a self-driven black Audi).

The Thalapathy Anthem is the second song of a video album comprising of 2 numbers, which showcase Vijay's charming, off screen persona. The Anthem is the brainchild of Vatsan C.R. (Engeyum Eppodhum fame) and Dinesh Venkatraman; in fact a tribute to Vijay by his die-hard fans.
