Director Murugadoss is all excited to release his film Thuppakki for Deepavali. The director and his team had been working hard on this project for the past few months. This is what he had to say on his lead actor Vijay. "I think he is a multi-faceted personality. He is quiet off the sets, but when he presents himself in front of the camera, he comes alive. He sheds his inhibitions completely when we begin filming," he revealed.
When asked about choosing Mumbai for a Tamil film, he said, "Everyone wants to film in Chennai for Tamil films and it has become visually boring for creative artists. Considering I was finally working with Santosh Sivan, I wanted a challenging platform in terms of locations."
