Speaking about Vaadivaasal, Soori explained what it was like to witness the shooting of the upcoming venture. He said, "I watched the shooting. I understood then and there itself that this film is going to be one that will be talked about a lot. I realized that it would be celebrated in those districts almost along the lines of a grand festival. There were several jallikattu players who came to the shooting, including some people whom I personally knew. I too have been and continue to live that life of jallikattu. We too have a bull in our house. I knew that if this was made as a film, it would be a huge success and thought about how big it would be when Vetri Maaran annan and Suriya annan come together. I'm telling you now at this moment. Just wait and watch what happens in the theatres when Vaadivaasal comes out."
Being produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu's V Creations, Vaadivaasal featuring music G. V. Prakash Kumar is expected to roll into full-fledged production later this year after the release of Viduthalai: Part 2, which will open in cinemas in the months ahead.
