It was earlier announced that Vethi Maaran wrote the screenplay and also co-produced a Raghava Lawrence film titled 'Adhigaaram'. The film is directed by Durai Senthilkumar, who worked as an assistant director to Vetri Maaran and gained attention with films like 'Ethir Neechal' and 'Kaaki Sattai'. But reports started surfacing regarding the Adhigaaram which suggested that the project has been dropped due to some reasons.

Due to this, one of the bankrollers of the film under whose banner the film is produced, Five Star Creations LLP, took to their official Twitter handle to address this matter and give some clarity and insight into it. The wrote saying, "It’s really shocking to notice rumours spreading about our project #Adhigaaram getting dropped. We firmly announce the script works & shoot plans for #Adhigaaram is ongoing smoothly. ". Check it out: 

Renowned filmmaker Vetri Maaran has given us many hits in the past and the man currently has various stories in his belt. He just recently completed shooting for the film 'Viduthalai' with Soori in the lead role while Vijay Sethupathi will be seen making a special appearance. The film is to be released in two parts during the first or second half of 2023. Soori has worked immensely hard to bring our prominent changes to his body. After Adhigaaram, director Durai Senthilkumar will start focusing on Nayanthara's 81st film produced by Rowdy Pictures. Actor Raghava Lawrence currently has 'Chandramukhi 2' on his plate, 'Rudran', and an untitled film directed by KS Ravikumar, in which Raghava Lawrence's brother Elvin plays the lead. On the other hand, Suriya's film 'Vaadivaasal' directed by Vetrimaran is highly anticipated by the fans.
