Hip Hop Tamizha is a popular youth icon who has grown from being an independent music artist to a music composer to a lead actor. The next film of the actor that is in line for release in titled Veeran and is a super-hero flick that also has mythological elements, Vinay Rai who played Villain in the hit film Doctor and Etharkkum Thunindhavan. The trailer of the film was released last Saturday and became one of the trending videos and the film is set to release in theatres on June 2. The film also has Athira Raj playing the female lead with Kaali Venkat, Munishkanth and others in pivotal roles.

Ahead of the release of Veeran, The actor Hip Hop Tamizha and the director of the film ARK Saravanan sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta Media. When asked about some of his songs that become trending numbers, The actor said “I am used to it. Always, My songs don’t become hits immediately. First, there will only be scoldings for the song. like: What is this? This is not music... At first, we did not use the Saranam, Pallavi format. So even Sundar C sir saw it and said we will do this as a promo. We had hook and verse format, It’s just a different terminology but because it was different, it was an experimental, many trolled us for it. Normally, if I release a song there will be many trolls. And after five years it will become a hit. Now, if you see when Indru Netru Naalai was released, they did not mind it. But last year, Kadhale Kadhale became a huge hit. Then suddenly, Yar Enna sonnalum song from Ambala became a huge hit as a family song. So, I am used to it."
Speaking about his upcoming projects. The music composer Hip Hop Tamizha said he is going to concentrate on independent music next. His upcoming film Veeran is set to release in theatres on June 2. Here's the full interview:
