Varun Sandesh in AVM's latest film

The Happy Days team has been welcomed with open arms by the Telugu film industry. Even chubby hero Krishnudu has had a decent hit with Vinayakudu recently. It is now Varun Sandesh's (another Happy Days cast member) turn to bask in his success as the solo hero in his second film Kotha Bangaru Lokam (KBL).

After crossing the 50-day hurdle easily, KBL is now racing towards the 100 days mark. Encouraged by the film's success, AVM Productions has signed up Varun Sandesh opposite Vimala Raman in a youthful romance.

The�as-yet untitled film will be directed by�newcomer Marthand K. Shankar, son of veteran editor, Marthand K. Venkatesh. Mani Sharma will be composing the music.
