UTV is getting ready to release the official DVDs of the movies Muran, Vettai, Vazhakku Enn 18/9, Kalakalappu, Mugamoodi and Thaandavam early next year. G Dhananjayan, Chief South Business for UTV Motion pictures gave out the news through a micro-blogging site about the same. He added that UTV is planning to launch single DVD of each movie as well as a set of the 6 DVDs of these movies put together.

This is a positive step towards curbing piracy and hope to see more production houses coming out with such plans. If not completely eradicate piracy, but such steps will surely help in reducing it to a great extent as more people wish to have legal DVDs at home.
