Trisha takes a pay cut?
Trisha, undeniably one of the top leading ladies in the South, has�made a name for herself in Tamil and Telugu films. She has only recently made the journey to Bollywood under the guidance of director Priyadharshan, who directed her cine debut Lesa Lesa. We keep hearing how great she is performing on the sets of Khatta Meetha opposite Akshay Kumar. Her hard work and girly charm has impressed Akshay to such an extent that in recent interviews, he has spoken very highly of his co-star.
However, we now have reason to believe that in her desire to advance her acting career and make a name for herself in B-town, the actress�accepted this role for a very low salary. Insiders state that while she demands close to Rs. 80 lakhs for Tamil and Telugu flicks, she has agreed to do the Hindi movie for one-fourth of that! However, while her friends insist she is doing the movie at a lower pay because it’s Priyadharshan’s movie, we also hear that she is willing to take on more Hindi projects with the same low salary. Looks like Trisha has her eye on the goal and is willing to make a few compromises to get there!
