We have already seen and heard anthems for Love, and also for the God of Cricket: Sachin. An anthem in the making for Ilayathalapathy Vijay has been doing the rounds recently, and now the anthem is ready for release!
The Thalapathy Anthem, as it is called, is the brainchild of Vatsan Chakravarthi who shot to fame with Engeyum Eppodhum, and Dinesh Venkatraman. The Thalapathi Anthem is the second song (composed by R.R. Ram) of a video album comprising of 2 numbers, which showcase Vijay's charming, off screen persona. The rap part of the anthem has been taken care of by Amogh Balaji! Gokul Kalyanaraman has handled the direction, while the camera has been cranked by Anantha Padmanabhan aka Gautham. The rest of the technical crew comprises Sanlokesh: the editor, and associate directors Haarish Jayavel and Karthikeyan Sakthivel.
Earlier, the makers of the Anthem met Ilayathalapathy Vijay and screened their offering for their favourite star, the man of the masses. Vijay will be launching the Thalapathy anthem at a glitzy ceremony, to be held tomorrow.
