Directed by Perarasu, Thigar is produced under the banner of Katsun Films. The shooting of the film is on in full swing. This film has actor Parthiepan donning the role of a mafia man named Alexander. Pairing opposite him, is Priyanka who has acted in Kannada movies. The music is handled by R.K. Saber while editing will be taken care by V. Vijayshankar.
The film was shot in Pondicherry. Three fight scenes, and a romantic song between Parthiepan and Priyanka were shot at that location. Apparently, the shooting of the film has been wrapped up.
