National Award-winning Tamil actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram and acclaimed filmmaker Pa. Ranjith's Thangalaan is in the post-production phase now and will open in cinemas in a grand manner in 2024. The upcoming period action drama will also  have a teaser launched in the days ahead and reputed producer-distributor G. Dhananjeyan has now shared the first reactions to the glimpse, which was screened to a top banner recently. Dhananjeyan, who has watched the Thangalaan teaser, has also opened up on the plans for the film to be taken internationally during an exclusive interview with Galatta, while also sharing how the visuals are going to be in Hollywood standards. 

Dhananjeyan said, "During production, there was absolutely no compromise. As the shooting progressed, [producer] Gnanavel Raja sir gained more belief. Likewise, as filming continued, the budget got bigger as the number of days got extended and the shooting has now been completed. The film has been edited and Gnanavel Raja sir gave glowing feedback stating that it will go places. In order to take Thangalaan to international markets, he's currently in Mumbai as there are plans to collaborate with a top banner in media and entertainment in bringing it out. There will be announcements made in regard to it in the next 3-4 days." 

Speaking about the first reactions to the Thangalaan teaser, Dhananjeyan stated, "After Gnanavel Raja sir showed the one-and-a-half minute visuals to the people in that banner, the excitement for the film got bigger and I too felt the same way. After watching the Thangalaan teaser, I thought that the team truly had done something stunning.
