There's no stopping the updates coming out from the Thalapathy 67 team as fans continue to still talk about the film's poojai video after its release. The upcoming Vijay-starrer under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction and is currently being shot in Kashmir under S S Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner and is currently one of the biggest Tamil projects in development. With several big updates out already, it has now been officially announced that Netflix is the digital partner of Thalapathy 67. Announcing the global streaming giant getting associated with Vijay's next, 7 Screen Studio tweeted, "Tudum, Our gang has a new member 😎 And that is @NetflixIndia, our official digital partner of #Thalapathy67 🔥".. Netflix India South too have shared their enthusiasm at boarding Thalapathy 67 as the film's digital partner and wrote on Twitter, "Neenga kaathutu iruntha update itho vanthuduchu! It is time to cue the beat and start the celebrations, because Thalapathy is on his way! 🤩💥🤩💥". They further stated, "#Thalapathy67 is coming to Netflix as a post theatrical release, and we're literally jumping! 🕺". Thalapathy 67 is going to be streamed on Netflix after its theatrical run is over and follows Vijay's Beast, which premiered on the OTT platform last year after it came out on the big screens.

Thalapathy 67 marks the big screen reunion of Vijay and Trisha after 14 years and fans have been expressing their excitement at wanting to witness the hit on-screen pairing once again for a while now. Likewise, the film also has music by Anirudh Ravichander for whom it is his fourth big collaboration with the Tamil superstar after their Kaththi (2014), Master (2021), and Beast (2022). Apart from Vijay and Trisha headlining the star cast, Thalapathy 67 also includes Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, iconic Tamil filmmakers Mysskin and Gautham Vasudev Menon, actress Priya Anand, veteran actor Mansoor Ali Khan, Malayalam sensation Mathew Thomas, and popular choreographer Sandy master.
