In a tragic incident, popular Telugu actress and YouTuber Dolly D Cruz, known best among fans as Gayathri, passed away in a tragic car accident at Gachibowli, Hyderabad. She was 26. According to reports, the budding star died on the spot in the incident when she was returning home from a Holi party. It is being stated that the vehicle in which Gayathri was traveling along with a friend went out of control and crashed into a roadside divider before she succumbed to her injuries. However, her friend was rushed to a nearby hospital and is reported to have survived and is currently undergoing treatment. Gayathri became a fan favorite after she began appearing in videos for the YouTube channel Jalsa Rayudu and also recently worked in the Telugu web series Madam Sir Madam Anthe.
The news of Gayathri's death has come as a big shock to many in the Telugu entertainment industry, with fans and celebrities expressing their condolences on social media. Actress Surekha, who previously played her on-screen mother on Madam Sir Madam Anthe, paid her tribute on Instagram and wrote, "How could you leave this mom..! Had really best times together..!
