Manobala, a famous director, actor and producer who was a part of many hit films, passed away due to health issues on 3rd May, today. It was reported that he was hospitalized and was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Chennai. He died at the age of 69 and is survived by his wife and son Harish. The actor has played supporting and comedy roles in various films in his career span of 44 years.
Following the demise of Manobala, many public figures and leading names in the film industry have been paying tributes and expressing condolences to the actor. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin has tweeted a statement on the demise of the actor Manobala. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said “I am shocked and saddened by the news about the demise of film director, producer and actor Mr. Manobala, who has died due to health issues. He was not just a good director but also a character artist who made people laugh with comedy, and it is an irreplaceable loss to the film industry. At this time, I am reminded of his complimentary speech after visiting the photo exhibition that was arranged for my birthday. My deepest condolences and consolation for his family, film fraternity, fans and friends, who are saddened by the demise of Mr. Manobala.”
