K.E. Gnanavel Raja is one of well-known producer in the Tamil film industry who has some massive films in-line. His production house, Studio Green, is bankrolling the next big project Pa. Ranjith with Vikram as lead, Thangalaan and it also the massive film Kanguva with Suriya as lead. The producer has collaborated with actors Suriya and Karthi multiple times to make hit projects and had shared some exciting information about an upcoming film that is in works in a new Interview with Galatta Media.

Producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja gave an exclusive new interview to Galatta Media recently and shared some exciting inside information about upcoming projects under his banner. As there is a huge expectation for a film where brothers Suriya and Karthi would collaborate on screen, the interviewer asked if they are planning any such project. The producer replied “No, but we have began a film, shooting has started. No title or anything about the project has been announced. So, as soon as possible, after the release of the first look of Japan, which is set to be released on Karthi sir's birthday. One month or two months after that, our film announcements will be revealed.”
Actor Karthi was recently seen as Vallavarayan Vandhiyathevan in the blockbuster hit film Ponniyin Selvan: 2 which is running successfully in theatres. As the interviewer, then asked more about the project and if the scale of the actor has changed after PS. The producer said he can’t reveal anything about the content of the film because they had just begun the film now. He has revealed that “even before the movie began, all the rights of the film has been sold for a history price in Karthi’s career”. This is the ninth collaboration of Studio Green with actor Karthi. The producer has also released that an update about Japan will be revealed on the actor's birthday on 25 May.
