Popular TV anchor-turned-heroine Swathi of Subramaniapuram (Tamil) and Colours (Telugu) fame has been reportedly�selected as heroine opposite Vikram in his forthcoming Tamil film to be directed by Selvaraghavan of 7G Rainbow Colony fame and produced by Ramesh under the banner of Kanagarathna Movies.
Ironically, some rumourmongers suggest that Vikram will star opposite a prominent Hollywood actress in this untitled film. The makers are said to be having discussions with managers of various Hollywood actresses to sign the deal. Anyway, we must wait for official confirmation from the makers.
Vikram will start shooting after the completion of his portions in ace Mani Ratnam's bilingual flick Raavan. Unlike his previous projects, Selvaraghavan will complete this film at a single stretch at the locations of Mumbai, Goa and Ladakh and is planning to release it by May, 2010.
Vikram has also signed another project titled 24 with Yaavarum Nalam fame Vikram K. Kumar. The film is produced by Mohan Natarajan and features hottie Ileana in the female lead.
