Soundara Raja, who played the role of Paranjothi, Sundarapandian's (M. Sasikumar) friend, in the movie, is an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer, who has worked in London, Dubai and Singapore, before coming back to India, to sate his craving for acting! Talking about his passion for cinema, Soundara Raja reveals that he came back to Chennai, with cinema being his only thought, and he adds that he would do any type of roles! Another of his movie, Varutha Padatha Vaalibar Sangam. recently crossed 100 days at the theatres! One among the hundreds and thousands of people who leave everything and come to Chennai to try their hand at cinema, Soundara Raja came to prominence in his first movie itself, and credits Sasikumar and Prabhakaran for this! Both Sundarapandian and Varutha Padatha Vaalibar Sangam have crossed over 100 days at the theatres. His upcoming movie Jigarthanda, said to be a Pongal release, following along the lines of his earlier movies, is also set in the backdrop of Madurai, as is another of his upcoming movies Por Seyya Pazhagu. Meanwhile, he has been getting many offers to act as a hero in movies, but is waiting for the perfect script to debut as a hero. Soundara Raja is also thankful to everybody who have helped him reach where he is today!
