Sreekar Prasad's perfect cut
Editor Sreekar Prasad has bagged the Special Jury award for his work in three landmark films (Pazhassi Raja, Kutty Srank and Kaminey) at the recently announced 57th National awards. Interestingly, Sreekar Prasad already has seven National Awards in his kitty!
"I've been recognized for my work in three different genres of films last year, and all three demanded different approaches. Editing is a lot of hard work, and when awards come later, as this one has, it comes as a great booster shot, and propels you to become better," he said.
