While leading actors Sneha and Prasanna are set to tie the knot on Friday (May 11) at Vaanagaram, Chennai, it is heard that they have sold the telecast rights of their wedding to Vijay TV for a fancy price.
Prasanna confirmed the news, but denied the reports claiming that it was with the intention of generating extra revenue.
"Yes, we have given the telecast rights of our wedding to Vijay TV. We never planned to sell it but they came up with the unique idea of airing it exclusively with a new concept for a decent price,” he explained. The actor also said that he has given clear instructions to the channel about what can and can’t be shot during the ceremonies.
Meanwhile, the couple had a sangeeth ceremony on May 8 at the Green Park Hotel in Chennai and the closest friends of the actors were present in the event. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa is likely to be the chief guest at their wedding and they invited the CM to the wedding recently. Kollywood biggies like Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are also expected to be present.
