Filmmaker-actor SJ Suryah has wrapped up filming his portions in the upcoming film, Mark Antony, starring Vishal in the lead role. Being directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara and Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan fame Adhik Ravichandran, the upcoming film is a production venture of S. Vinod Kumar's Mini Studio banner, with the team today releasing a video showing a celebration for SJ Suryah completing filming. In the video, we see Vishal, director Adhik, producer Vinod and the rest of the crew from the sets of Mark Antony that resemble a harbor, with the team organizing a special cake-cutting ceremony and then jumping into celebration mode.

The excitement surrounding Mark Antony shot up after it was announced last year that SJ Suryah had boarded the film, which is billed to be a period action entertainer set in the 1970s. Promotional material for the film released so far has given audiences a glimpse of what to expect when the film opens in cinemas sometime later this year as the looks sported by both Vishal and SJ Suryah for their roles received a thumping response from fans. It is to be noted that Vishal escaped an accident back in February during the production of Mark Antony when a lorry went out of control while filming an action sequence, with none of the cast and crew members fortunately not suffering any injuries.
Apart from Vishal and SJ Suryah, Mark Antony features a diverse star cast among whom include Ritu Varma playing the female lead, followed by Selvaraghavan, Telugu actor Sunil of Pushpa: The Rise fame, Nadodigal actress Abhinaya and veteran actors 'Nizhalgal' Ravi and Y. Gee. Mahendran appearing in pivotal roles. The film has music being composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar and his work in the Mark Antony motion poster released sometime back once again receiving a stellar feedback, with the wait now on for his songs.
