The makers released a theme video for Takkar in Tamil and Telugu and a song titled Nira three years ago. As a special treat for a fan on Siddharth's birthday, the team have launched a new teaser from the film. The one-minute teaser, begins with a glimpse of the relations between the leading pair of the film, Siddharth and Dhivyanusha. It looks like the female lead of a bold and independent woman who is not looking for serious relationship and Sidddharth as an angry youngster. It also shows scenes of mass action sequences that will also be a part of the film. The teaser ends with an announcement that the film will be released in theatres on May 26.
