After Prashanth's Saahasam, now it is Sivakarthikeyan's next film which will be shot on the Chennai Metro rail. A month ago we reported that the authorities of the newly started Chennai Metro Railways have granted permission to the film industry to shoot movies in the train and the station premises. The first film which opted to film in Chennai Metro was Prashanth's Saahasam.

The latest we hear is that Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming big budget film will have a sequence which will be shot in Chennai Metro. Reportedly, the sequence will be shot between the Koyambedu - Alandur Chennai Metro rail route. This yet-to-be titled film directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and produced by R. D. Raja under his banner 24 AM Studios, is likely to launch on November 2nd. Looks like Chennai Metro rail commuters will soon witness back-to-back film shootings!
