Simbhu springs a surprise
Simbhu's talent as a singer is well-known. All along, he has sung only for big artistes and with music by his close friend Yuvanshankar Raja. The latest on Simbhu is in having rendered (for free) a solo fast number `Karupayi' with music by Srikanth Deva for Adi Narayana.
Director Vetri Vendhan said that it was Srikanth's decision to make Simbhu sing going with the mood of the film. “The scenario needed a voice letting go of the inhibition factor. Once Simbhu liked the beat, it was just a little practice before he finished the song in a single take,” said Vetri, evidently pleased.
Simbhu lending his voice for Gajan, the new kid on the block, has surprised Kollywood. That's Simbhu for you; expect him to do the unexpected.
