Shoba Chandrashekar's Grand Vocal Concert
Shri Maharajapuram Santhanam Rasikas Trust held the Shri Maharajapuram Santhanam memorial programme last Friday (23rd June) at Dr.Nalli Ganavihar, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha. In that programme Shoba Chandrashekar gave a grand vocal concert accompanied by Melakaveri Sri Thiagarajan playing the violin while K.V.Ramanujam played the flute, Hanumanthapuram Sri Bhuvarahan on the mirudangam and Sri Gajavardanam with his Upavadyam.
Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay’s mother Shoba, mesmerized the audience with her music. Dr.Nalli Kuppusamy Chettiar presided over the function. Many vidwans were honoured in that function.
