Noted South Indian actress Sharada, a three time recipient of National Award, has won the Andhra Pradesh Government's prestigious NTR National Film Award for 2010.

A committee of film personalities, headed by noted producer G. Adiseshagiri Rao, selected Sharada for the award, officials said. Noted Telugu director B. Narsing Rao was chosen for the B.N. Reddy National Film Award.

Leading producer A.V.M. Saravanan won the Nagireddy-Chakrapani National Film Award. The Raghupati Venkaiah Award went to senior actor, producer and director M. Balaiah. Yedida Nageswara Rao won the Special Jury award.

The awards will be presented by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy during Ugadi.
