"Please don't make me say that..." - Salman Khan breaks silence on whether he shot Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of Karan Arjun

Salman khan opens up on whether he shot shah rukh khan during karan arjun shooting - Tamil Movie Cinema News

Salman Khan is on cloud nine after the strong opening for his latest film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, despite a mixed response from critics. With the film now out in theatres worldwide, the Bollywood superstar recently appeared as the chief guest on the first episode of the hit India TV show, Aap Ki Adalat, in Dubai, and opened up on several big and interesting moments in his personal and professional life. During the interaction, the host of the show, journalist Rajat Sharma asked Salman Khan about an incident between him and Shah Rukh Khan. In a video that has gone viral, the Aap Ki Adalat host is seen asking the actor if he had an altercation with SRK during the early stages of their career on the sets of Karan Arjun (1995) where he allegedly shot the Pathaan actor. Responding to the question, the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan star states, "Nahi sir, wo maat bolvao (No sir, please don’t make me say that)".

Looking back at the incident, Salman Khan explained that they were shooting for Karan Arjun in Rajasthan and he decided to play a prank on everyone in a party that they were attending. The actor recalled that he rehearsed a situation where he would shoot Shah Rukh and the Jawan star would fall to the ground. Salman said, "I told, Shahrukh, I'll ask you to come and join me for a dance and you will have to refuse. Then, we will engage in a scuffle, and I'll shoot you using a blank gun. I will fire a shot and you fall down." Recalling that everyone in the party got scared, the Tiger 3 actor said that he tried to make SRK get up, who had apparently fallen asleep quickly since he was extremely tired from the shooting, which would begin at 6 a.m.

Soon after everyone came to know that they both were in on the act from the start, the party-goers were relieved learning that it was a prank. The actor then went on to declare that Shah Rukh Khan's performance on that day during the party was even better than his death scene in Karan Arjun. Salman Khan shared screen space with SRK recently in the blockbuster, Pathaan, which saw him reprising his role as Avinash Singh "Tiger" Rathore in a cameo appearance.
