Jeevan, who is widely known for playing the antagonist named Pandiya in Gautham Menon's Kaakha Kaakha, was last seen as a lead in an action film, Adhibar. Jeevan's next will be a science fiction thriller, titled Asariri, directed by a debutant, GK. The movie is currently on its pre-production stage and willbe produced by IB Karthikeyan of Big Print Pictures.
Debutant GK, who has made a viral short film, also named, Asariri, stated in an interview that the feature will be no similar to his short. He also added that he had written and directed this science fiction thriller with the intent to provide the audience, a novel-reading experience. In the same, he also said that the movie will have references from out epics and mythological tales which will connect to the technology of the modern world.
GK also had mentioned that Jeevan will be playing the role of a judgmental character, which the director thinks is a perfect role for him. Since the movie will be needing quality sound designers, the team is in search for the same. A former associate of Nirav Shah, Maruthanayagam will handle the cinematography and Vaira Balan will be the production designer. Asariri will go on floors this September.
