Sathyaraj, the veteran of innumberable films like Vikram, Mr. Bharath, Sinna Thambi Periya Thambi, Chinnapa Das, Kovai Brothers, Kannamoochi Yenada and Mozhi has decided to move away from ‘formula’ films and do those where his character is well-defined and fleshed out.
After Onbathu Roobai Note and Periyar where the characters he played had depth and uniqueness with plenty of scope to display his acting skills, he has decided to indulge himself and explore areas which he didn’t have the opportunity to do when he was a ‘mass’ hero.
Jamin Raj’s Pettai Mudhal Kottai Varai, starring Napoleon and Nasser, starts regular shooting schedules very soon. Of course Sathyaraj will be seen in yet another avatar that will create new boundaries of artistic creativity in the film industry. Thangar’s Tholaindhu Ponavargal will be his next project to go on the anvil.
