Sasikumar spurns crores!
Actor-director-producer Sasikumar has tasted victory in all his three ventures. His recent success as an actor with Naadodigal has brought several directors to his doorstep, offering him lead roles in theiri¿½movies. However, Sasikumar has made up his mind to take a break from acting and concentrate on directing because after all, that is why he came into cinema! But that has not dissuaded directors from approaching him!
“I never truly intended to be an actor. I want to make good quality movies. That’s why I am here. Ever since Naadodigal became a hit, a number of acting offers have come my way. But I am firm in my decision to direct and not act for a while. No matter how much money I am offered, I will not act. It’s not about the money for me. I am not here to just make money. But the funny thing is -- the more I reject roles, the more money I am offered to act! I have turned away directors who have offered me crores to act in their movies,” reveals Sasikumar.
